The increasing impact of ChatGPT across different industries has been nothing short of remarkable, and it seems that this popular intelligent assistant has found a new home with Peugeot. The car manufacturer has announced that it will integrate ChatGPT into various models, adding a new dimension to the driving experience.
ChatGPT will be integrated into Peugeot’s i-Cockpit system and can be activated via voice commands. Much like its functionality on other platforms, it will be capable of answering user queries and providing various services. Peugeot noted that the decision to incorporate the intelligent assistant came after a successful pilot phase conducted earlier this year, which involved 10,000 customers.

ChatGPT will be available on models that support voice commands, including the New 208, New 2008, New 308, New 308 SW, New 408, New 508, New 508 SW, New RIFTER, New TRAVELLER, New PARTNER, and New EXPERT, with the New 3008 and New 5008 to follow by the end of the year.
This integration will initially be available in several markets, including Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, and the United Kingdom, for both new vehicles and existing customers via an over-the-air (OTA) update. It is expected to reach Denmark, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, and the Czech Republic later in July.
It’s also worth noting that ChatGPT will be available as part of the Connect Plus package or as an on-demand feature for customers who purchased their vehicles before this service was introduced.
